Amanda’s 2017 Made-In-The-USA Gift Guide

Yes, it’s that time again. It’s my yearly round-up of made-in-the-USA gift ideas.

I’ll start with one that’s a double-win: Hell’s Kitchen Hot Sauce is made in NYC, and like all my favorite gifts, it will disappear when you use it up—and you’ll definitely use it up. They have seven flavors and you’ll want to try them all. Also, the packaging is great.

Not only is Paz Sintes’ beautiful jewelry made right here in New York, but some of the pieces incorporate repurposed vintage lace. I tried on a few pieces at the Columbus Circle Holiday Fair, and they are amazingly lightweight and very tempting.

Artist Jason Laurits creates fun graphic prints and puts them on tees and glassware. Everything is made in the USA, and all the silk-screening is done by hand in Brooklyn. I can think of a few people who would love these poodle glasses.

If I had the space and the budget, I’d definitely buy this foosball table for my kids. Fun fact: I discovered that there are several brands of foosball tables made in the USA. Who knew?

On a trip to Virginia, I discovered Col. Littleton’s moon pies, but when I checked out the website, there was so much more. Their specialty is American-made leather goods, like this classic billfold.

No matter where you shop or what you buy, here’s hoping that getting it done is fun, your stress is low and your gifts are meaningful.
